- No fences in front or corner yards for single-family and duplex homes. Fences can’t extend past the front of the house. On corner lots, the corner yard is found by drawing a line from the front corner of the house to both streets.

- Finished side out: the structural side must face your property, and the good side faces out.
- No barbed wire, razor wire or broken glass in any zoning district.

The submittal includes a notarized Broward County permit application, a signed contract, a notarized easement affidavit, a site survey showing the fence location, height and gates, product approvals, and pool-barrier forms if you have a pool.
